Biography
Dr. Chenggang Wang serves as an assistant professor in the Polytechnic Institute at the University of Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Cincinnati in 2022 (supervised by Prof. Boyang Wang). Before joining academia, Dr. Chenggang Wang has served in industry and contributed his expertise to renowned companies such as EMC, Nuance, and Amazon.
As the founder and leader of the Data Security and Machine Intelligence (DSMI) Lab at OU, Dr. Wang directs research initiatives focused on critical areas, designing and developing next-generation secure and accountable computing systems that prioritize the security, privacy and utility needs of users by leveraging interdisciplinary research including AI/ML, cryptography, trusted hardware, and software engineering. He has published papers in top security, and networking conferences and prestigious journals, such as IEEE Wisec, IEEE HOST, IEEE CNS, and ACM Codaspy. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
